An image of Let me in was scattered across the Internet after Twitter user thotcelot tweeted to inspire others. The video was cut by user Stevie A and then the captions appeared. Many of these memes described animals left outside or relevant topics at the time, like the illegal rapper 21 Savage living in the United States.
The special episode of the show, where the meme template came from, was released on July 29, 2016, but did not become popular immediately.
